What is the Leadership Games?

Lionshare held an event this summer called the Leadership Games. It was a different experience for two groups of people – the first, a set of older more seasoned leaders that prepared for a year to disciple a set of younger leaders in the ways of God. They met those young leaders at the Leadership Games in groups divided up by vocational field. Now, they are meeting for the next year to take them through Lionshare’s primary discipleship tool called “A Discipleship Journey” and learning how to apply Scriptural principles in their personal and professional lives. Faith Radio’s Carmen LaBerge who took part interviewed Dave Buehring about her experience as a leader and one of the hosts of the event.

Why Does God Want Us to Wait?

We all have something.  Something we’ve prayed about for a very long time.  Waiting is hard, but God does something in the midst of it.  He reveals His goodness through the work He is doing inside of us. God grows our dependence, aligns our hearts, and builds our trust in His timing.

Learning to War

Jesus did not have a warring mentality except when it came to the devil. He was ready with Scripture. Are you ready for spiritual warfare? Listen as Dave Buehring explains the concept of “playing fast” and how you can anticipate the tactics that will be used against you.

Information Overload

We can’t possibly sift through all the information that is available to us .  There is an overwhelming and constant flow of studies, data, ads and reels that claim they can transform our minds, bodies and eating habits. When it comes to our spiritual lives, there is an endless stream of sermons, teaching clips, soundbites and podcasts that promise life change. But how do you know if any of it is true? Which ones should we trust? Which voice do we listen to?
